I want to use hirens boot cd from my flash drive (because there is no cd or dvd drive on this lenovo model) to test the hard drive using seagate seatools to see if it detects a problem. I actually think the hard drive has gone. The model of laptop is lenove u410 Ultrabook i5 core. Image 3 (under the lenovo logo, it says preparing automatic repair) and Image 4 ( under the lenovo logo, it says diagnosing your pc) I switched it off and at present when switching it on again it fluctuates I proceeded to try resetting it and same thing happened over and over again.
Then this appeared (Image 2) ( it comes up with a message saying automatic repair could not repair your pc)

It got up to 42% and got stuck there for like 4 hours (in Image 1, under the lenovo logo, it says resetting your pc (42%) ) I then proceeded to reset the laptop to factory settings.
It resolved the problem and I was able to access files. When I put on my my laptop two weeks ago, it was acting really slow and Iīasically could not get any files open etc.
